How can we access the deeper wisdom that lies beyond the ordinary mind?
Across cultures and throughout human history, expanded states of consciousness have been explored for healing, creativity, spiritual insight, meaning-making, and transformation. While much of today’s conversation centers around psychedelic substances, we’re equally fascinated by something deeply human and often overlooked: our innate ability to enter naturally occurring expanded states through intentional practices.
On the weekend of the Summer Solstice – June 20th — a seasonal threshold long associated with illumination, renewal, and transformation — we invite you to join us in Ojai for a unique day-long experiential retreat exploring endogenous (“within us”) pathways into expanded awareness for healing and personal growth.
This retreat grew out of our shared passion for integrative medicine, contemplative practice, acupuncture, psychedelic-informed healing, and creating grounded spaces where people can reconnect with themselves in deeper and more meaningful ways.
Together, we’ll explore healing and consciousness not through external substances, but through practices that help us reconnect with our bodies, imagination, emotions, creativity, community, and innate healing capacities.
What We’ll Explore Together
Throughout the day, we’ll move through a thoughtfully guided arc of experience that blends education, embodiment, reflection, ritual, and expanded awareness practices.

Ritual & sonic-guided group acupuncture journey into expanded states of awareness

Small-group reflective dialogue & meaning-making
Our intention is to create a space that feels grounded, safe, relational, and deeply human — one that allows for curiosity, insight, reflection, connection, and authentic exploration.

The Setting
We’ll gather at the beautiful Wild Qi Integrative Health Sanctuary in Ojai, surrounded by nature and the spacious energy of the Summer Solstice weekend.
A healthy homemade vegetarian dinner and snacks will be included.
For those coming from Los Angeles or out of town, Ojai makes for a beautiful day trip — and we also encourage participants to consider staying overnight to continue integrating and enjoying the restorative beauty of the region.
